Since setting up The Big Tiny Productions Ltd in 2019, Will Cousins and Ben Richards have established a track record of leading quality and innovation in the entertainment industry.  

 

The Big Tiny have worked with an extensive number of theatres and arts centres in the North West including The Octagon (Bolton), The Lowry (Salford), The LBT (Huddersfield), The Dukes (Lancaster), The Millgate Arts Centre (Saddleworth), The Met (Bury) and many other national venues up and down the country.

Will Cousins

Will trained as an actor at Guildford School of Acting, receiving a BA (Hons).

Over the years he has enjoyed a varied acting career; from operating 15ft dragons in Sleeping Beauty (Little Wolf Entertainment) to singing in The Story of Bart at the London Hippodrome. 

Will's first passion has always been puppetry.  He is Chairman of the Punch and Judy Fellowship and regularly provides puppetry direction, consultancy and design for companies and shows (work includes: EmmerdaleThe Metro, Royal Albert Docks, Hits Radio, The Lowry).

Will works closely with Ben to develop the best possible productions, overseeing the design, costume and puppetry elements along with the additional building blocks that create an awesome show!

Ben completed his MA at RADA/Birkbeck.

He has written and directed plays up and down the country, on national tour, in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe (credits include: the UK tour of The Ukulele Project and Cargo which was subsequently adapted to a film for SkyArts24).

Ben has worked as dramaturg for numerous shows and companies, most recently on Toast, which ran at The Other Palace (London) after a successful tryout at The Lowry and the Edinburgh Fringe, where it won 4 and 5 star reviews from all the nationals.

Ben writes and directs productions for The Big Tiny taking his ideas from page to stage in his own unique style.

Jason Tinney

Jason trained at The Royal Ballet School, White Lodge, and The Royal Ballet Upper School, Covent Garden.

 

During his time at The Royal Ballet School he performed with The Royal Ballet Company.  Jason then went on to train for a further 3 years at Laine Theatre Arts.

 

After graduating, Jason danced professionally on land & onboard various cruise ships with which he travelled all over the world. 

 

Jason’s work as a choreographer has been on pantomimes, corporate events, musicals & plays.

 

Jason teaches at various performing arts colleges and works with the Hope Mill Theatre.
